Terms and Conditions of Service

PeruCulinaryTours

1. Bookings, Payments, and Rates
Confirmation: All bookings are confirmed upon payment of 100% of the total tour cost. The client must send the proof of payment via WhatsApp or email to receive official confirmation.

Commissions: Credit card payments are accepted with an operating surcharge according to current payment gateways or payment links.

All rates published on our website are aimed at the final consumer and already include the IGV (General Sales Tax). If corporate rates or inter-agency quotations (Net + IGV) are required, they must be requested and handled directly and privately through our official sales channels (WhatsApp or email).

Mandatory Information: To process the booking, it is mandatory to provide: full names and surnames, ID (DNI) or passport number, age, nationality, language, and hotel name or pick-up address.

2. Modifications, Rescheduling, and Cancellations (No-Show)
Deadlines: The client may request to reschedule or modify their service with a minimum of 24 hours in advance, strictly subject to the availability of our suppliers (transport providers, restaurants, boats, etc.). After this period, any absence will be considered a No-Show (loss of 100% of the deposit with no right to claim or refund).

Passenger Change: Each booking allows a name change for the main passenger without penalty, provided the agency is notified at least 24 hours in advance.

Loss of Activities: If the passenger arrives late to key itinerary points (such as boat boarding or restaurant time slots), they will forfeit the right to that activity without the option of a refund.

3. Schedules and Pick-up Tolerance
Reconfirmation: Final pick-up times are locked in and reconfirmed one day prior to the tour at 8:00 p.m.

Tolerance: Tourist transport has a maximum tolerance of 5 minutes at the pick-up point (hotel lobby or meeting point). After this time, the vehicle will continue its route, and the passenger must catch up with the group by their own means and at their own expense.

4. Transport Conditions and External Factors
Outsourcing: Tourist transport services are outsourced to formal suppliers duly authorized by the MTC (Ministry of Transport and Communications) and with active SOAT (Mandatory Traffic Accident Insurance). In the event of any unforeseen mechanical failure along the route, the agency will manage priority transfer or a replacement vehicle.

Force Majeure: PeruCulinaryTours reserves the right to modify the itinerary or cancel the service due to force majeure events beyond its control (strikes, adverse weather conditions, decisions by port authorities, or road blockades). In such cases, rescheduling or a refund of the balance will be offered, minus expenses for services already rendered by third parties.

5. Tour Conduct and Code of Conduct
Passenger Condition: It is strictly forbidden for passengers to board while intoxicated or under the influence of narcotics.

Zero Tolerance for Abuse: Acts of physical, verbal, psychological, or discriminatory aggression against staff, guides, or fellow travelers will not be tolerated. The company reserves the right of immediate exclusion from the tour with the support of police authorities, with no right to claims or refunds.

Lost Property: The company and its staff are not held liable or responsible for items left behind or lost during the execution of the tourist routes.

6. Health and Minor Responsibilities
Traveler Health: It is the passenger’s sole responsibility to travel under medical advice if they suffer from any pre-existing condition. If a passenger suffers a health setback on the route, they will be assisted and transferred to the nearest health center so the group can continue the itinerary.

Minors and Seniors: Minors and senior citizens travel under the strict care, supervision, and legal responsibility of their accompanying parents or legal guardians.
